Before the birth of my first child, I did a deep dive into vaccines. My mother had been a special-ed teacher for decades, and the anecdotes piled up. She lost count of the parents who told her their child regressed after their 12-18 month shots.

You can compare brain scans between autistic children and those with more healthy brain function. It's easy to see the difference. Yet, there has still not been a long-term placebo-controlled study done when it would be very simple to monitor the effects with brain imaging.

Why?

Here is what I learned after doing a deep dive into the neuroscience literature. A list of 17 references is at the end. In the end, we still did certain vaccinations and at a modified schedule.

This isn’t intended to be an anti-vax article but rather a pro-stay-informed article. You are responsible for your child’s health. This isn’t intended to be medical advice but to arm you to ask better questions and make informed decisions.

In a post-COVID world, where experts have beclowned themselves over and over, this is more important than ever.
