My New Children's Book...and Exclusive Rewards
A fun, wholesome adventure you'll love reading to your kids.
I wrote another children’s book, The Rainbow Knight, and the Kickstarter to fund it begins today. I need your help to raise enough to illustrate and print it.
The Rainbow Knight is a fairy tale adventure told in rhyme, and you’ll love reading it to your kids. You can view the full text of the book from the Kickstarter page, but here’s a quick sample:
On the tallest of mountains, near the top, nestled tight,
Stood a tower with a prism, made for carving sunlight. When the sun rose each dawn, popping up in the East,
Its beams would rush in to be sliced, then released. They went out as a rainbow and painted the world,
An old promise that swirled, twirled, and unfurled.Red, orange, and yellow. Green followed by blue.
Indigo, then violet, side by side, all on cue.The colors flew quick and soaked all of creation.
Every jot, crack, and nook received rich restoration.By the door of the tower stood a knight, strong and true.
He kept safe the world’s colors, every shade, tint, and hue.
Special Offer For Foundation Father Subscribers
I want this project to fund within 48 hours. It’s an ambitious goal, but it's doable.
If it funds within 48 hours, I will give everyone here a free ebook of Princess Hiccup, my first children’s book. It is well-reviewed on Amazon, and you and your family will love it.
Why 48 hours?
Because this will help kickstart the Kickstarter algorithm, and the project will get more visibility. If the project gets funded early, I can focus on improvements and additional marketing.
If only 10% of you decide to back it, even at the lowest level, we’ll be on our way to funding this in 48 hours, and everyone here gets a free ebook.
Pledge your support and share the project page far and wide. Lots of extra rewards are available, including art prints, getting your name in the book, or getting your likeness in the book. Some rewards are highly limited, so you’ll need to be one of the early backers to claim them.
Why I Wrote This Book
When they were young, my children loved reciting the colors of the rainbow. But today, most children’s books about rainbows are going to try to introduce children to sexual identities and “alternative lifestyles.”
I wanted a book about the rainbow that didn’t try to groom children. I wanted a book that was a good, fun story and nothing more. No propaganda and 100% wholesome, with scenes of both silliness and true depth.
I aim to write children’s books that can withstand 17 straight readings in one sitting because sometimes that’s what kids ask for. I believe I succeeded.
Help me bring this book to life.
